Beginning on 05/06/22, everyone entering the Fitness & Athletic Center must be masked.

 



What to Bring 

In addition to the items listed on the What to Bring packing list, please bring: 

  • Shin guards 

  • Sneakers and cleats 

  • Hockey stick 

Always be prepared to practice both indoors and outdoors. Athletes are expected to eat all meals in the dining hall. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and dinner is served from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. 

Preseason Hockey Camp Schedule 2022

ALL PARTICIPANTS IN PRESEASON MUST BE VACCINATED IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN PRESEASON!

Monday, August 15 – FIRST DAY OF CAMP

Morning:

8:30-10:30AM – Registration in the Coffeehouse in Marshall Center

11:00 – Team meeting on Track – Get team pinnie ($17.00)

11:15-11:45 – 12-minute run - Track

11:45-1:00 - lunch

Afternoon:

1:00-1:30 – Rest/Relax

1:30-2:00 – Workouts with Keith – FAC

2:00-3:45 – Practice - Turf

4:00-4:30 – Swimming session with TBD

5:30-6:00 - Dinner

Night:

6:15-6:45 – ALL Teams Meeting in FAC - WELCOME!

6:45-7:00 – Team stretch - Turf

7:00-7:45 – 7 v 7 Scrimmage – Turf

9:30PM – Boarder check-in

First week of camp over after swimming!

5:30-6:00 – Dinner for boarders

9:30PM – Boarder check-in

No night session! All preseason boarders need to complete a weekend overnight card in order to go home for the weekend!

12:30- Depart for scrimmage vs Conwell Egan (Home 2:00)

5:30-6:00 - Dinner

Night:

6:00PMTeam walk into Newtown for Ice Cream at Zebra Striped Whale – bring $6.00

9:30PM – Boarder check-in

 

Wednesday, August 24

Thursday, Aug. 25 - NEW Student Orientation Begins – ALL NEW Students Participate in NSO activities and join hockey during free time and for last scrimmage.

Friday, Aug. 26

Morning:

8:00-8:45AM –Boarders can stay through weekend. Boarders must give room key to Nancy

9:00 – Depart for Morrisville High School

9:15-10:00 – Warm-up for scrimmage with Morrisville HS – Grass

10:00AM – Scrimmage vs Morrisville HS – Home

12:00 – Return Home

12:00 – lunch

CAMP IS DONE!

 

Mon., Aug 29 Tryouts Begin

Important Information:

1. Please be READY TO GO at the times designated!

2. Bring cleats, indoor shoes, turf shoes (if you have them) and running shoes to ALL practices (we will be moving to different sites throughout the day and during practices)

3. Required at ALL practices: Indoor shoes, running shoes, cleats, mouth guard(s), shin guards, stick, large water bottle, towel (to soak up your sweat), a larger towel for yoga, sun block, bathing suit and towel, Masks (this may change)

4. Please talk to me in advance if you cannot attend a practice due to a doctor’s appointment or another conflict.

5. All players are expected to stay on campus until the end of the last practice session unless they have spoken to me in advanced about having to leave early and signed out in Deans’ Office

6. If leaving campus (except at end of practice day for day students, you must let me know and also sign out through reach in the Deans’ Office and get car permission!)

7. Boarder Info:

a. Check in each evening with Dorm Duty person at 9:30PM

b. Boarders must be in their room at the following times:

i. 10:00: In room for freshmen (sophomores on their halls)

ii. 10:30: Lights out for freshmen and sophomore dorms (quiet hour in all dorms begins at 10:30)

iii. 11:00: In room for juniors and seniors
